Roundup should support multiple (D)VCSs through abstract interface.

This is being worked on by a Summer of Code student.

Currently Roundup supports status changes for various types of classes
(tasks, bugs, whatever) through svn and hg (tested), bzr and git
(untested). It also has a pretty diff view. Work is ongoing to introduce
support for patches, applying patches to the tree and showing the
outcome in diff form. If you haven't guessed yet, I am the student
working on this :)

I would like to nominate Darcs as a candidate backend for this, and also
a way to test the abstractedness of the interface (since Darcs is fairly
different).

It'd be interesting to see how to deal with merging updates.

Some hastily sketched out ideas (which are not necessarily necessary for
Darcs integration; just from the perspective of someone more experienced
with Darcs than Roundup): http://wiki.darcs.net/Ideas/BugTracker

Hello!

Considering that Roundup is very fine issue-tracking system and fact
that the distributed trackers are 'not there (yet)', it would be great
that Roundup get support for different DVCSs and my vote also goes to darcs.

Any plan to move this ticket forward?

Sincerely,
Gour

Is there any update on this? Seems to have died 10 years ago.

Mariod are you still around?

I would like to see what you have for this. We integrated a GSOC
rest interface in 2.0.0. Attaching what you had or
or at least getting doc on it would be wonderful.

I am always around :)

It's been forever though - let me look around where this could be.

Cheers,
Mario
