It appears that links to issues do no seem to be working on
issues.roundup-tracker.org

For example:
  issue2550771

should link to http://issues.roundup-tracker.org/issue2550771

Based on information in this email:
   http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_id=29737312

On my local computer I tried using the version of roundup located at:
   http://hg.python.org/tracker/roundup/

with the issue template located at:

http://roundup.hg.sourceforge.net/hgweb/roundup/roundup/file/tip/website/issues

I created some dummy issues, and did some manual changes to the DB to
"create" issues with large ids. All of the following msg snippets linked
successfully:
   issue1
   issue12
   issue123
   issue1234
   issue12345
   issue123456
   issue1234567

So I am more included to think there is something weird happening on the
servers instance... not really sure where to start looking though.

You could try with
http://hg.python.org/tracker/roundup/file/bbed84f88723/share/roundup/templates/devel
too.

You mean you used that whole instance or just the templates in the html/
dir?

FWIW on the Python bug tracker everything seems to work, but that's
probably because with have local_replace adding the links already.

The whole instance... I assumed that was what is running on
issues.roundup-tracker.org

I was assuming that local_replace may have been hiding the issue on the
Python bug tracker as well... though I could always be wrong.

Jerry any idea if this is still a problem?
msg5831 Author: [hidden] (jerrykan) Date: 2016-07-11 01:50
Based on the output of the other messages in this issue it looks like
the problem has been resolved. I'll close it.
