I have contacted somebody with login access to that server. Maybe he can
find some traceback indicating the cause.

What was displayed to you when you tried to change the password? Was
it a stack crash/traceback?

If so can you copy/paste it in your reply to this ticket.

The usual error message was displayed:

An error has occurred

A problem was encountered processing your request. The tracker
maintainers have
been notified of the problem.

We found the error. I made a mistake in converting that template to
be 1.6 compatible.

I duplicated a security nonce. With the duplicate nonce removed
things are working again.

You should be able to use the reset function again.

Fortunately, you made me search the distributed templates and I found
a similar case in the jinja template which I fixed.
