Roundup should remember what the user's
group/column/filter/sort setting is for when they click
on the index link. This could either go in a cookie or
in the user's stored data.
Is there anything else that people have noticed that
would be nice to have configurable on a per-user basis?

gnatsweb -- the web frontend to our current issue tracking
system -- uses cookies for the purpose and this is one of
the better features of this tool :-)

Another feature -- which probably should also go into a
cookie -- is the capability of remembering queries by name
(not by bookmarking them). In the customisation screen there
would be a selector "remember query as [ ]" the result of
which could be stored in a cookie.

The cookie should reference a session stored on the
server. A simple anydbm store in the appropriate
instance's db dir would suffice.

The named query memory is implemented. No-one has come up with
any other preferences, so I'm closing this issue.
