Richard,
I have installed 3 times on a SPARC Solaris(2.7)
running 0.4.0 with the same results, Na-da. I
followed the previous thread with Damon and got
similar results from both python commands. I had 12
failures, 4 errors, anydbm_name is not defined, as
well as anydbm_defaultmod.
I'm running the latest version of Python(2.2). Any
light you might shed would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, I missed this support issue when it was added (sf.net
isn't configured to send email)
Could you try the latest CVS? It has some fixes in the
backend code.
