With roundup 0.5.1 and Python 2.2.2 on Solaris 8, I get
multiple failures and an error with run_tests. One of
the failures seems to be a known Solaris failure
(locking), and some appear to be mail message header
formatting issues, but there remain a number that look
more serious. I'd like to help as much as I can with
this, Richard, so any suggestions would be welcome.
(BTW, I made the change suggested by the deprecation
warnings to do with using formataddr instead of straddr
from email.Utils). Output attached.

So I presume the answer is "Don't use the Metakit backend, then!"?

You can use the metakit backend. I really need to fix the unit tests so they
don't fail for metakit.
