People profit a lot from useful release changelogs.
CHANGES.txt is a bit broken as it
ist refers to 0.6.0 for the released 0.5.6 and 0.5.5.
The project page does not have the latest changes file,
why not use a link to the latest version of the CHANGES.txt
in the viewcvs interface?

I was finding it difficult maintaining a correct CHANGES file for
both branches. I will attempt to make the HEAD file look similar
to the maint branch file.
The link is a good idea.

I have now also cleaned up the CHANGES file in HEAD to
include the specifics of the 0.5 branch fixes.
