This just started happening when I synced up to the
repository upon seeing the announcement of 0.6.2. I
have no easy way to go back because the old tar file is
not in the download section and there is no cvs tag.

The user said:

I added a comment, changed the status, and the owner
and it was when I clicked submit that I got the error. 

I have been able to make this happen again once.

If you want to go back to 0.6.1, then use the tag "release-0-6-1".

Oh, I see - you've updated to the HEAD branch! OK, the best thing for 
you to do is either: 
 
1. download the roundup 0.6.2 tarball, or 
2. check out a fresh copy of the source using the maint-0-6 *branch*: 
 
cvs -d :ext:cvs.roundup.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/roundup \ 
    co -r maint-0-6 -d maint-0-6 roundup 
 
This will create the "maint-0-6" directory containing a checkout of the  
"maint-0-6" branch of the roundup source.
