As previously mentioned on the mailing list, but not
actually submitted to the tracker (AFAICS) it would be
useful if Roundup produced logs of its actions.

This would have been especially useful for me in
roundup-mailgw to aid in troubleshooting installation
issues. Possible events/information to log in mailgw
(for a POP account):

* Connection to pop server
* Authorisation success
* Total messages found
* Message text downloaded

I'm sure others can suggest other suitable areas (e.g.
database accesses to troubleshoot permissions problems).
