By default, roundup had a umask setting of 0, making all generated files
mode 0666. This was (imho correctly) deemed insecure by the packet
maintainer at the time, and he changed it to 077, so that only the
roundup user, under which the server runs, had access to files generated
by the server (eg. all the mesg* files). |
