I've always had a bee in my bonnet about storing all
Roundup's messages in an IMAP store, instead of in
files on the filesystem. That way, you're free to use any
IMAP client to browse the messages. Roundup then
stores a reference (Message-ID) to each message and
looks it up when necessary.
I guess this would be a different mail storage backend?
The IMAP store could be maildir(s) under
<tracker>/db/files ..
