This updates the german translation file to Roundup version 1.4.2.

A lot of translations were missing; there were some minor typos. 

I tried to be as diff-friendly as possible, comparing to the POT file. Some translations were re-arranged to match the given order. Some msgids stayed the same but look different now due to linebreaks; they were updated to the notation used in the POT file. Some old msgids and their translations were preserved when used in tracker templates.

Doesn't apply cleanly any more. Sorry I didn't apply it when there would've been more success. Any chance of getting a new version of this patch? In fact, just submitting a new de.po would be fine.

could you look into this, please ? (And, while doing that, figure out
why the current de.po is broken ?) Let's switch from xpot to
pygettext.py at the same time...

fixed some duplicate entries and a syntax error, added some missing

thanks for the patch ! I still get two errors with it, though:

1) In lines 2073 and 2074, "\'" isn't recognized, resulting in:
invalid control sequence

Removing the '\' there makes it work.

2) In lines 2128 and 2265 I get:
`msgid' and `msgstr' entries do not both begin with '\n'

I have no idea how to fix this.

Any idea why I see these errors but you don't ? Does it depend on my
locale ?

Well, I must admit I didn't really try the build like you did.  I just
did a gvimdiff of roundup.pot and de.po.

Concerning the 2nd problem, it looks like there is a constraint which
requires the msgstr to begin with a '\n' if the msgid does.  If you
insert a new line 2266 with "\n", and do the same in line 2129, it
should work.

(or at least the error you reported should go away ;-)

I have removed the two occurrances of "\'" then 
"make de.po" runs on a fresh checkout (trunk rev 4189)
and thus de.po is finally updated and ready for translation.

For the new version I've remove the obsolete line:
# roundup.pot revision 1.8
I believe this should be done for all *.po files
and the $ID$ line should also go unless keyword expansion is enabled.

Attached a new fresh de.po which can be used as base 
to now update the translation. (Which I will try next.)

New de.po, created with Poedit, updated from roundup.pot (rev. 4189).

Contains missing translations and some corrections.
Left out the "# roundup.pot revision 1.8" line as well.
